Been open for a while. Take it slow especially if you're in a car with low clearance. There are some big bumps/dips in the road and it twists and turns.

This is a easy road that you can make it to the top with a car. It is not well marked down at the highway.

This is also a good place to leave some trail magic

I used the road in May of this year. It was fine then except for 1 washout, which only required a tap on the brakes to get over. I drove my wife's Saturn SUV which is not much of an SUV. I could have driven that road in my 99 Honda Accord. The gravel/dirt road is in great shape. It is closed during the winter months to help it stay in great shape. It is about 6 miles long from the highway to the parking area and will probably take you 20 minutes. It is a single lane and winds around a lot. I was honking my horn all the way down (and back out 6 days later). There is a sing at the highway for the road, I forget what it actually says.

Why???????????

I honked my horn at each blind turn because you can't see around those bends. I didn't know if another car was maybe coming up. When I got to the parking lot there were 2 other cars there. When I returned to the parking lot 6 days and 63 miles later there were maybe 7 cars there. But no other cars on the road while I was driving it.

I'm being shuttled down this road on Saturday to begin a short hike. I'll report back on the conditions if you'd like. :)
