Tahoe Rim Trail : 165 miles ( Adam Bradley of PCT fame says 168.6)
Kornet destroys record and sets a mark of 38 hours 32 minutes.
He slept just 2 hours and got lost for an hour ( 5 extra miles).
What could the king of long distance do to the AT record?

Kilian Jornet is in a category of his own. I don't think that there are any ultra runners around who can match his talent (especially given his age). If you check out some of the records he's beaten in Europe it's just amazing. Not sure anyone on Karl's website quite comes up to Kilian!

The great Kilian has been humbled in events as well. As we all know, ultra marathon runners dont always translate there talents to long distance fastpacking. Hes also had immigration issues in the states, but I doubt he would ever consider fastpacking the big 3, and really for what? An unoffical honor system record, this dude gets paid to do what he does, on timed tracks. You want a underdog, how about Eric D, of underground PCT fame, dudes legit and anti press.
