What is miliage from Vt12 to Happy Hill Shelter

I lost a page out of my A. T. Guide. So can someone tell the exact miliage between Vt.12 and Happly Hill Shelter?
Also why is there such a discrepancy between The A. T. Guild and the Appalachain Data Base. They are off about 6 Miles when you get close to Hanover. I'll be hiking from Vt12 to Franconia Notch over Labor Day Week .

The most accurate source for mileage, year after year, is a work published annually called The A.T. Data Book. This is essentially where all other extant guidebooks and a lot of websites get their mileage information, other thru permission/approval from the authors/publishers, or thru simple ex-appropiation of previously published information without bothering to ask. But if you want accurate mileage information on the A.T., this should be your first stop.
