I bought some Duofold Thermal Underwear. They are 60% cotton and 40% polyester. (I was under the impression they weren't cotton, must have grabbed the wrong ones.

Cotton Kills, shall I return them and obtain something else? Such as these?

1st of all, cotton is not a good idea.
Unless you are hiking in the desert, then it's sometimes ok.

So, yes, i'd return them.

But, your second choice on there is mostly all nylon. Not much insulating value at all. (does nylon wick? maybe, depends)

If you want a mid-weight, wicking fabric that has some insulating value also (good idea), try these
