hello everyone!im researching boots.rightnow im deciding between danner mountain light2 and asolo 535.i like danner for the stitched soles. are stiched soles more or less durable than cemented(i had cemented boots delaminate once) like the asolo because i read that gortex is hot ,and these asolos have cambrelle.i hike with 30lbs mostly in the summer .hiking for about 10-12 miles a day for a few days at a time. thanx for the help

Another option. Lighter than some. Very rugged. Made in Italy.

i've been hiking in danners for about five years. i find them comfortable, and rugged and hot. you should consider waterproofing with nikwax before hitting the trail. a few short hikes should break them in nicely. good boots that can be resoled after becoming old favorites.
