South Stukeley is about 30 mi north of the LT's Canadian border terminus. While this individual cat would unlikely interfere with anything on your side of the border, there may be more than one in that area. The Townships Trail goes thru the area however, tracking north from the LT terminus

Wait a minute.

I thought cougars didn't exist in Eastern North America.

They don't have a passport, so can't go south of the boarder...

They don't have a passport, so can't go south of the boarder... I think their enhanced drivers licence will do.

This must be a mistake. It was probably just a rabid jackalope.

I think it's obvious that this was a domesticated cat that was abused by its owner.:D

My uncle from Island Pond swears he saw a cougar (they call them catamounts here) in the Nulhegan basin back in the 80s. No convincing him it was anything different.

Also know the guy that shot the wolf up in Norton a few years ago thinking it was a coyote.

Never know what's out there.

Well let's say that a whole lot of people in the area changed their hiking habits ...

what i think is really funny is reading the posts after the article. if the color of the screen boarder was green, it could've been whiteblaze!!!
