About 14 days ago at the bird cage in Dalton,Mass i counted roughly 120 northbounders I myself am one.I am currently in Hanover,New Hampshire recovering from lyme.the first of the wave of the 120 are coming through out of Vermount.Today residents of Hanover started accepting hikers into there homes there is a sign up sheet at howe library.Hanover is going the extra mile here hikers so take advantage of this if your passing through tomorrow(friday) or even today. The town give numerous resources away if you are a thru hiker.coffee-bagels-pizza-and now a safe shelter as this storm seems to be coming this way.Of all the times to have been bite by a F^%$ing tick i have to say thank you to MOTHER NATURE could'nt have happen at a better time.If most hikers (nobo) do stay in Hanover for this storm than Monday or Tuesday you could have roughly 100+ hiking out to the whites and into Maine for I would say a record number at Katahdin in Sept...Can you say STRENGTH IN NUMBERS...
