It's a good time to either get off the trail for a few days or to hunker down in a nice sturdy shelter for a while (see? shelters CAN be useful after all!)

BaxterState Park is closed until Tuesday possibly longer if the roads are washed out. The road to Kathadin Stream has some low lying spots that may be flooded. I do not beleive they will allow throughhikers in unless the road is open. There were quite a few thruhikers finishing on Saturday (nice day) but the weather changed for the worse Saturday night.
