I've seen dozens of news stories and film clips on the devestation in Vermont. I don't think this story is being missed at all. Incidentally, there's a good bit of info on Trial damage (Long Trail and A.T.) at www.greenmountainclub.org Very useful if you plan to be up that way anytime soon.
