You go girl! I have a weiner dog as well - I love that dog enough that I probably would have done the same ... yeah Feral Bill, you're right though ... stupid move - she got lucky. (Ever hear the one about how "Sir-Packs-Alot" rescued the starving, freezing, injured bear hunting dog from atop a 5 thousand foot ridge it couldn't get down from a few winters ago? Yeah - that was stupid too when I returned it to it's owner 10 miles later at a road crossing then had to pay for my hernia operation from carrying a heavy winter pack and 85 pound immobile dog along a knife edge ridge ... I really felt like an idiot. I didn't get sick to my stomach every time I climbed a ridge though thinking re leaving that dog to die. Some folks are nuts that way.)
