These KML files will allow you to overlay the centerline of the AT, Parking areas, and Shelters on top of the Google earth topo.
It may help if one of the moderators could kindly make this a sticky in this section so that others can find and use and add to this resource more easily.

It seems that for some reason people are not able to download the "parking" files while the others work fine ?????
I'm attaching one of the problem files to this post in an attempt to solve the problem.
Please let me know if this works.

I keep getting "clear" when I try to download the parking file.

Try this one......... the uploader seems to need a "zipped" file rather than an expanded KML ???? I used to understand this stuff, now I'm old.

It works for me too - thanks jerseydave! I am using this http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/gpsbabel/ to covert your kml to wpt and trk for my Magellan.
