the heavy duty coat

bought a coat from goodwill for my main full size coat. it's all polyester,shell, stuffing......everything. just i nice winter coat.... my question is... i know it's not a fancy the north face, but it looks just like those 175.00 dollar coats. its a faded glory so it's a either walmart or k-mart coat... but i swear it looks like it will keep me just as warm.... think it will work ok for my main coat?

yes it will fit in the pack. its fairly light weight.

I remove a lot of tags from my gear so I may have Golite or Montbell tag I'll sell you to sew on the jacket.:p
