Figured I'd stop in to say hello!

I ended up quitting my job and went on a 4 month road/hiking trip last spring/summer. Drove up through the Yukon to Alaska, and all around the states. I'm already coming up with all kinds of plans to try the AT (LOL).

Check out some of my roadtrip pics here...

20,000mi of Road and 300mi of Trail.
I'm going to try a Long Trail thru next summer/fall.

Nick:

Those were some awesome pics--thanks so much for sharing them.

I, too, am curious as to what brand of camera you used. Those appear to be some high-quality pics.

Fantastic photos!
After looking at the varied collection of photos from all over the place I thought about an old Johnny Cash song; "I've Been Everywhere, Man."

Certainly applies to you. It's obvious you had a great trip. Thanks for sharing those photos.

How long will it take to hike from Springer to Damascus? I'm not a trail a burner, I am relatively slow.

Excellent pics. Excellent quality, crisp. I have stood in some of the exact same spots before on 6 or 7 of those photos. I guessed on these 7 before looking at the descriptions. Got all but 1 correct. I thought the Oregon coast one was CA coast. Close enough.
