Damascus Meeting Spots

I got an unexpected week off of work, and I am hitting the trail in the morning to hike from Iron Mtn Gap to Damascus. I've been busy getting my food together and mailing my drop box to Kincora, this is the first time I've had a chance to sit down. My ride is picking me up in Damascus. Where is there a good place for them to meet me? I was thinking a restaurant where either one of us can sit, eat and maybe have a beer while we wait on each other. What street does the AT run through Damascus? Thanks!!!

Quincey's is probably the best place to meet. They have good food, pizza and beer and are centrally located on the main street (Laurel Ave., Rt 58) near Mt Rogers Outfitter and the Post Office.
