How reliable are the water sources between the Deep Gap trailhead and the NOC?

Wow - it's really dry out there -I'm worried about trees and animals and everything, BUT, I was at Telico Gap yesterday and the stone water source is full with a trickle still running in it. There is also a passable amount of water at Rufus Morgan. I can't tell you much about south of there - Plum Orchard Gap could be tricky but if you go down the creek a bit, probably ok - I would worry about Standing Indian Shelter and Carter Gap - if you are going NB, before you get to Standing Indian Shelter there is a road - the side trail to the right (east) will take you down to a reliable creek and you could carry it up from there in a pinch. I really sort of forget the water at Carter Gap - someone else might have to comment on that.

In general, of course, these sources are very reliable - we are in a drought - I assume you know this.

usable water was present at all campsites on the Standing Indian loop this weekend.
