Shuttle Needed in NC

We are driving up to NC from FL the week after next and require a shuttle from Wallace Gap to our start across the border in GA. Any recommendations ?

Lilregmg made a good suggestion. Here's another...

Contact the Nantahala Hiking Club (I think it is), which maintains that section of trail.

They can put you in touch with shuttle drivers, plus club members and trail maintainers, who are often more than glad to help, besides being founts of knowledge.

Sounds like you will be starting close to Hiawassee GA...John and Carol Sellers are on the list Jack referenced. The other guy listed in Hiawassee no longer shuttles.

I recommend the Haven Motel guy. I stayed there several days last year and he was extremely helpful. He goes out of his way to help hikers.
