I'd like feedback Pro/Con on these blister treatments: Leukotape? Spyroflex? Compseed? I've only needed to use moleskin in the past for week long hikes. I'm going on a thru next year and want to be prepared! Thanks.

I use Leukotape, it's the only thing I've found that sticks to my sweaty feet.

I'm a real fan of the Compeed (not Compseed) Blister Plaster. That stuff stays on for days and provides just enough padding to disperse pressure.
I do bring along a bit of Leukotape to use to attach a dressing onto sweaty skin, but haven't used it for blisters.
Never heard of Spyroflex.

Have not used the other two, but now carry Leukotape instead of duct tape for many things: gear repair and foot protection being the top two. If you are getting a hot spot, put leukotape on it BEFORE you get a blister. Stays on for days and does not macerate the skin under it like duct tape will, because it breathes. If you already have a blister, a leukotape option would be to use a sterilized needle to drain the blister, then cover with leukotape. But treatment is not nearly as good as prevention. Listen to your feet!

If you don't have this : http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=cm3&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&q=adventure+kits+blister+kits&gs_upl=4338l6880l0l6961l13l11l0l0l0l0l195l1201l3.7 l10l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1024&bih=629&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=1628621838775062323&sa=X&ei=cT2YTsfXEZK2tgegnbnuAw&ved=0CEEQ8gIwBQ

Get it! Protects after you get a blister. The gels allow the blister to heal and you can still hike at the same time.

To prevent blisters in the first place, I use good ole athletic tape: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=athletic+tape&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=13309338232193879808&sa=X&ei=Qz6YTr3DIMq9tgeOs6yGBA&ved=0CIEBEPMCMAA.

Trust me...I've had my fair share of foot issues: http://cholladay.smugmug.com/AppalachianTrail2008/Appalachian-Trail-2008/DSC04981/1139682233_uVTwk-S.jpg (http://cholladay.smugmug.com/AppalachianTrail2008/Appalachian-Trail-2008/15232561_k4PXH2#1139682233_uVTwk-A-LB)
