I'm trying to find a new pack for my wife. She has a Camp trails Night Song and hates it (For Sale, in good condition!). Weight distribution never seems right, the ends of the frame stick out too far on the side, so you bump then every time you swing your arms. She insists she like external better than internal because she formerly borrowed a very similar-looking pack from a friend and it worked great. She' very short-waisted, and 5'2", and doesn't want to carry much more than 25 pounds.

Any suggestions for a different but similar pack?

I have a Kelty Trekker, Short torso and like it very much.
