Does anyone have experience ordering from Big Sky International?
I submitted an order in early October which they never confirmed and have been unable to get a response from them, despite repeated emails.

I did a search through the Colorado and Wyoming BBB online and discovered Big Sky International is not BBB accredited and has no complaints. See summary HERE (http://www.bbb.org/boise/business-reviews/tents/big-sky-international-in-jackson-wy-1000006045/).
But........
....according to this LINK (http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Rec/rec.backcountry/2007-08/msg00102.html) the corporation was dissolved in 2005. Can't say if they re-filed or not. Take note of the fine print about complaints from customers waiting over 18 months for delivery under the "podcast" section.
You may consider filing a BBB complaint (maybe it will help someone else?) and contacting the Wyoming Department of State to inquire if, in fact, the company is still in business or dissolved. If Big Sky is out of business I'd ask what the Wyoming Department of State can do about the website still being active.

Seems like a cottage industry operation, so could be the owner is off hunting, hiking, ill, whatever. I'd call and then send a snail mail - and then take it up with pay-pal or the CC company.

They have such a horrid reputation for service, I would never consider them. If you buy a product from them, buy it from a 3rd party vendor that has it in-stock. And hope you never need help with it.
Seriously, how about people that waited 1 yr for their items they ordered?? It happened. No communication, no apologies. Not worth dealing with.
But, but, their web site has so many awards!
