I have gone to strictly minimalist running shoes (though I won't make the jump to VFF or barefoot). I want to maintain the minimalist shoeware in hiking. The only hiking boot I found with zero hell drop has been the Golites, I'm particularly interested in the Quest which is "water proof".
Has anybody here ever tried the Quest and, obviously, what is your opinion?
Anybody know of some other minimalist shoe or boot which is designed for hiking from the start, not just a zero heel drop trail running shoe? I would consider minimalist up to a 1/4 inch heel drop.
