I'm not sure how many of you remember me but I sure have missed this place, and all of you. Lots has happened since my attempted thruhikes in 2007 and last year. I'm missing the trail terribly right now and looking forward to my third try (has to be the charm right?)
Anyway I'm sure I'll get into everything that happened later, at the moment I'm just glad to be among friends again and hearing about the trail since I can't get on it. Nursing a compression fracture of the vertebrae and looking for work right now so it's nice to immerse myself in your stories even if I can't get out for a while (and it's motivating me to keep moving even though I don't always feel like it).
I'm excited to catch up!
