Hey Guys,

I am doing a series of videos from my 2011 PCT thru hike. Might be an interesting watch for anyone planning a future hike, or people who have hiked in the past-

The link is here: http://youtu.be/LFO6edbFCH8

Or search "two feet and a heartbeat" in youtube.

Thanks for watching if you do!

Great videos lighthouse. Really fun to watch and MAYBE the PCT is in my future. I have a few tiny sections of it under my belt already. The grizzly bears up at the border give me the willies though. Did you see any? Black bears I don't mind at all and cougars never bothered me. The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is competing neck and neck with the PCT for 2013 but first I'd better do the AT.

mike2012-

all i can do is highly suggest the PCT. It was my first long distance trail, and I wouldnt have it any other way. As for the grizzly bears - dont worry about it at all. There is almost zero grizzly bears in Washington, we definetley did not see any. I have seen plenty while hiking in the Canadian Rockies, and never had a problem. I definetely wouldnt want the prospect of grizzly bears to deter you from such an amazing trail.

hike on my friends!

Yeah, don't worry about bears. I went through Washington in August and it was full of bear hunters.

Lighthouse, I inserted all the videos up until you reached Oregon into the first post for you.
The Oregon video does not work and I could not find the rest of the videos on your youtube channel.

Amazing videos, what type of camera did you use, how did you do the walking and talking videos, were you holding the camera on a stick. I hiked the AT 2008, my next long hike is definitely going to be videos, thanks for the inspiration.
