Looking at the following:1) lynx gws, water proof, negative 102) puma mf, water repellent, negative 253) puma gws, water proof, negative 25This will be for the Adirondacks and such. Wondering if I should go to a -25 or do the windproof -10?Weight difference is only a few ounces, pack volumeis not much difference.Price difference is like $150.00 or so, not that huge - considering. I sleep warm and my Montbell UL 20 keepsme warm down to 7 degrees.

I'm thinking of saying screw it and buyn the negative 25 gws, it is "windproof" and "waterproof" so I would have a bombproof bag for any winter camping in the negatives.

I just went ahead and ordered the Puma GWS, -25 bag.Figure if I'm getting a winter bag, it may as well be wind/water proof. Should be here Wednesday! Can't wait to climb the ice!

You do know that it can get a fair bit colder than -25 in the Dak's, no? You might want to supplement the bag with a down jacket and booties or such in the coldest conditions.

Oh yea, I have plenty of down tops and bottoms. I've been hiking up there before in mid Nov and it was a frozen wonder land then! I was using my MB 20 degree and that kept me warm. This trip however is a bit different and temps are suppose to be around -10 or -20. I bought a few new items for this trip, to be comfortable. Just looking forward to getting some "me" time.
