So I suck at DIY stuff but this wasn't so bad. Here's how I replaced my recent SE908 beer pot ring into another pot:

I enjoy your videos--one thing you might try is using a box knife or a utility knife to score the can instead of the marker, just cut to the score line and the metal will split cleanly. Also, once you have the ring in place, cover it with a piece of wood-like the cutting board at the sink, and then just press the pieces together evenly. This also works for joining the two halves of a pop can stove. Hope this helps. grayfox.............
