I thought I saw someone that wanted to hike Dec 31- Jan 1 somewhere in southern- central PA from Dec 31- Jan 1st earlier and I can't find the post anymore. Was someone looking at doing this area around this time?

Check with Harryfred . He wanted to hike into Toms Run .

Didn't post here. Post was on Face Book section hikers. Yes if the weather and work cooperates I plan on leaving PGF prolly around 5:00 in the evening and hike in to Toms Run Shelter. It is just under 4 miles so I may be there after dark. Current forecaste is for partly cloudy. Also there is a group hike planned from The Iron Masters Mansion to Pole Steeple starting at 1:00 on the first.
There was a hiker doing a 3 day hike in south central PA 29-31 or 30-1 and was asking about a shuttle to get back to a vehicle. Someone suggested Trail Angle Marry. Pine Gove Furnace was mentioned If remember correctly.. good luck
