Live just south of Lincoln and we got a light dusting of snow last night. Hope there is a good amount up north for the ski areas and some of the hiking trails

Not that much. Just enough to make it look more like winter. Not nearly enough to snowshoe or cross country ski on yet. Looks like I'll be able to clear the driveway with the push broom again when I go out later.

I may drive up into The Whites tomorrow late afternoon and set up somewhere tomorrow night. Got any suggestions since the weather isn't looking all that bad.?

Off the Kangamangus look for the Greely ponds trail. Its a couple miles each way with little elevation gain and the farthest pond has a good stealth spot I like to camp at.

Looks like a fair crowd has headed up to the RMC Gray Knob cabin, judging by the number of cars in the parking lot. I need to drag my butt up there and check out the trail conditions sometime. I have a feeling it's ice most the way up.

The Rattle river shelter is an easy hike to get to ~ 2.5 miles in. Nice mellow walk for a quick overnighter. Has a fire ring, so bring a grill and some steaks.

Think Im going to brave Drakes Brook to Jennings and Sandwich Dome. May hike in late afternoon, get some rest and head up early am Sunday. Just got some Hiilbrand Trail Crampon Pro's and want to try em out

Lookin like some wintah is heading our way but there is still a warming trend after an arctic blast. Going to be a short winter this year, or a late spring.

We deserve at least one good snow storm this winter!

Dang. I knew it was bad karma. No one to blame but myself.

Starting to flurry here, calling for only 5-9 inches of snow tonite and into tomorrow.

We get it tomorrow. Going down to 1 degF tonight though. Will test out my sleep system.
Then 6-8" of snow Thursday, only to go back to 43 degF on Friday, with rain. Ugh.
