SoBo 2012 anybody?

I am a male and will be 18 in April, and i plan to leave in late june or early july, i dont really need a hikng buddy but i was just wondering if there would be others my age hiking. Im skipping a college semester to accomplish my life goal.

We had a crowd of 15 July 1 heading south. They'll be SOBOs around. Age matters not. We had 18 year olds up to 50 plus, high school friends, father / son, newlyweds, nice mix :)

I have decided to thru-hike SOBO this year. I will probably be starting in June. I am in my early planning stages now.
