While it's desireable to use the search function to locate specific information, sometimes the topic is buried deeply and hard to locate. Personally, I have no problem reading multiple threads on the same topic. Each discussion develops it's own spin. I can't see why folks get upset about it.

I like it when people post new updates on old issues, but of there's an ongoing discussion on something, starting a new thread without first searching sometimes just confuses the issue.
