I'm planning a section hike in May I was planning on starting at Elk Garden hiking into Damscus, then getting shuttled to Dickie Gap and hiking north back to US 21/52 or I-77. Where can I park for 6 days?
The owner of the Big Walker hotel seemed Ok with parking there, my guess is he would want a night or two overnight stay or a token donation. That is where I am planning on parking for 10 days in March, Bland - Damascus section hike.

I wouldn't mind giving a donation and a place to shower at the end of the hike sounds great. I'd even consider staying overnight if he could shuttle me to Dickie Gap.

Thanks for the reccomendation called BMM and they'll let me park. I'll be spending the night there also. Will call Jeff for the shuttle whenever we get closer to launch.

Looks like Jeff's out of business. Number is disconnected and no longer on AT Shuttle List.
