I belive they are an "outgoing" only post office. A gimmic started when there was a summit hotel so guests could mail a postcard or letter with a Mt Washington post mark. Even if they did accept boxes up there, your arranging to get there when thier open would be a real hassle.

Get your drop at Pinkham Notch at the AMC desk

I added "Front Desk" to my mail drop address label at their suggestion.

NOT a good idea. The 'Post Office' is nothing more than a chair and desk in a small cubicle. In fact, it was not open the morning I was there, because the only employee had not yet come up on the train. I was referred to the gift shop to buy a stamp, and they were all out of stamps.

....we were trying to find a way to resupply without having to carry the 7 days we normally do.....seems like the crawford notch shuttle is quite the hassle?.....what have "YOUR" treks from glencliff to pinkham looked like (in terms of resupply?....none?....one?).....thanks

Just carry 3-4 days of food and resupply at each of the notches.

Resupply at Pinkham. Mark front desk, hold for thru-hiker. Highland Center in Pinkham will also hold packages. Note that Highland is not on AT but I always saw thru-hikers short-cutting on A-Z trail & Crawford Path. The 6-7 days is not an issue because you can always get food at the Huts. Even though work for stay is for 4 hikers max, I often see 8-10 thru hikers fed lefyovers in the summer. Do not use the Washington summit P.O. for mail drops, it is only for out-going mail only with very limited hours. Note: I have worked front desk for the AMC at both Pinkham & Crawford Depot & also work for the Auto Road. Zigzag

I would never use Mt Washington for a mail drop. Many reasons, but for just one their hours can be somewhat varible, especially due to the weather. As spokes says, resupply in the notches.
