Can anyone tell me if there's been any substantial snowfall at the higher elevations in GSMNP,and if there's much if any still on the ground.Planning a trip there soon, and know this winter has been much warmer than normal in the Southeast.

I live nearby. No snow, even at LeConte. Weather in the 50's.With that said, I have seen 60's one day and 6" of snow the next.Figure that if he weather s in the 30's in Knoxville, some f he mtns will have snow

Just back from a two night trip around the Cosby/Laurel Gap/Tricorner area. No snow at all. Ground is kinda mushy.
