I have never noticed anybody parking on this road for more than a dayhike. Most people park in the parking lot at the footbridge on 501.

OK, that was my first choice, but guide book doesn't say there is parking there. Have you had any experience at this lot?

I have parked there before and haven't had any trouble. I haven't heard of anybody else having trouble there either.
