Hey all,
Can anyone tell me what the snow conditions are like in the Smokies right now?

Before visiting the park in winter, please call (865) 436-1200 for road closure and weather information. Dial extension 631 for updates on temporary road closures and extension 630 for a weather forecast.

The website High On LeConte reports yesterday,about 8" snow with 16 degree high temp and -4 for low temp....

Damn. At least one thru hit the weather-window perfectly and cruised thru the Smokies. She has now pulled off near Erwin to wait out the cold spell.
I was watching the Weather channel today, they said about 6 inches of snow expected in the Smokies.
