I might be doing a short section of the AT this weekend, i would drive over there Thursday after school, hike 0.9 miles to davenport gap shelter and stay the night there. Then my goal is to at least make it to hot springs. I will be out there Thursday-Sunday. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any stuff i must see along this section of the trail, or any campsites/shelter i should avoid or go to? Also, if anyone would like to meet me up there and hike with me that would be cool too..
