Hi...

If you've ever had a chocolate bar melt in your pack, pocket or cargo pocket, worry no more. If you need your chocolate/sugar fix right away, but would rather not boil water for cocoa, worry no more.

Simply carry your supply of cocoa powder in the spot of your choosing. When the need for your chocolate/sugar fix comes upon you, simply scoop out a spoonful of the dried powder...!! It melts in your mouth, giving you your instant fix. Even the ones with mini-marshmallows...it's great that way. Try it...!!

Better yet, drop the melted chocolate bars in the cocoa powder, roll it around, and then eat the cocoa-coated-chocolate bar. Om nom nom.

The first thing I actually thought of was "cinnamon challenge, but chocolate."

Sorry FYI Hershey Kisses were reformulated to have a high melt point during the occupation of Afghanistan as part of the MRE meal program..

Domestic vs shipped may be the same formula...just pack it and find out...

M&M's where made at the behest of soldiers in WWII that wanted non melting chocolate

I dont ever remember getting A chocolate candy in an MRE, of course I'm trying real hard to block out having eaten so many of those nasty things from my memory... The military is evil forcing those things on us:mad:\

HT1, you probably don't remember the chocolate candy in MRE's and C-Rats because they were left over from Korea and were made of I don't know what. But they didn't melt. They also gave them to those that went through some of the schools at Benning School for Boys. :)

Those were the nastiest I ever tried to eat. MRE's are a great improvement over C rations.

Doesn't dark chocolate have a high melting point? And you could pretend that you are eating healthy.

Hi...

Actually, I do remember them. Edible, but barely (IMuhO). But at least they were a step above those hocky-puck-tough (and shaped), terrible, concentrated chocolate drink mixes which were in the C-rats (I think).

The great thing about tootsie rolls is that by the time you finaly get them "unstuck" from your teeth 5 miles have passed.

When I started hiking in the early 70's you could still get tropical Hershey bars. They didn't taste so good but I never saw one melt. Sounds like a niche market for someone to claim.
