They have the Z65 for $129.98 for members only. And right now membership is open for a limited time for those who may not know, or haven't been to the site before.

Why are you using shortened URLs for the links? I'm just curious as to why, since you clearly used a hyperlink anyway...

I don't trust those packs. I bought a Gregory Z a few years ago. It had major manufacturing defects that I wasn't able to see. It broke in no time. I returned it to REI.

I've owned a few of the Gregory Packs. I currently use a Z65 and have had no problems with it. I did have an issue with a Gregory Pack before the Z65, but their customer service and warranty were great. After calling them and discussing the problem, they sent me a brand new pack. But like most things you buy, every so often there is a ones that get shipped to stores that shouldn't.

The honest thing to do would be to let us know what his kick-back is for all the links he posts. Just spam to me.

Must be spam. He/She didn't get insulted when called a spammer! Any real person would have fought back. :D

This thread is about Gregory (of which I am a fan), but all of his posts are about gear sales and an effort to steer connections through him.

I did not realize you guys took gear deal postings so seriously. Spam would indicate it has nothing to do with the topic of the board, kindly delete the thread if Gregory packs on sale have nothing to do with hiking gear talk.

Re reading the OP it reminded me the phrases of mountebanks that were trying to sell snake oils in western movies.

Here is the link to the affiliate program. (https://www.theclymb.com/avantlink) You are right about disclosure. It is one thing if I visit a person's website and click a link to a store and they receive a kick-back (I have the same through my website for Amazon, TigerDirect, and Newegg), but it is an entirely different thing to post a link with kick-backs in a web forum without disclosure. Also, right now members get $10.00 for every new member that joins. So, basically, if you fill out the information requested via the OP's link, the person makes $10. Nice money making scam if you ask me.

I was in error in my last post: The OP does not get $10.00 when a new member joins through his link, rather the OP gets a $10.00 credit once the new member buys something.
