Need advice regarding a ‘big man’ day backpack

OK. I need some help finding a daypack made for broad shoulder-chest body types. I've tried on multiple types of daypacks. All the daypacks that are long enough, 22 inches, are too narrow where the straps connect with the top of the pack. My broad back forces the shoulder straps to bend at too radical an angle which causes them to not lay flat. That causes them to pinch .....

Any recommendations on a big man's daypack? I'm thinking around 28 to 30 liter capacity.

I should add ....

The general use will be long day hikes and overnight trips in the summer.
