I can get this tent plus the Footprint:

http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/sc-gear/solo-12_2.html

for $115

2.8 lbs

Reviews say not for cold weather but I'll be section hiking during the summer months.

Do you think this is something I should jump on?

Is it new? If it is, heck yea. However, if it's used I'd put my hagglin' face on.

The box has never been opened. Sweet.

You really pay for lighter gear, so it's a balancing act between what you're willing to spend vs. what you're willing to carry. With the NorthFace, you could save some weight right up front by not carrying the footprint (or replacing it with light plastic painters dropcloth), replacing the guylines with lighter cord and swapping out the stakes for titanium hooks. That's three things that won't break the bank to make that tent lighter and more comfortable to carry.
