AT: August 100 mile hike suggestions??/

Two of us are looking for a 100-120 mile section to complete in August, probably the first half of the month.

So far, we have completed the SNP last July (Rockfish to Front Royal) and Maryland in August 2010 (Harpers to Penmar).

Any suggestions for areas (not the really difficult ones, yet!) Please include info about the area, if you can!http://www.trailplace.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

Anywhere from Bear Mtn in NY thru Vermont is relatively easy and the further north you are the cooler it will be. NY has a lot of road crossings where you can hit up deli's and carry less food if you so choose.
