Wondering what ya'll think of the MTR indian dishes. I have heard they are delicious, but at 10.5 oz a pop they are going to be riding a bit heavy in the pack. I am thinking of grabbing a few to mix things up on my through hike, eating them my first night out to be rid of the weight. Have any of you carried them, and what was your conclusion to the age old question "was it worth the weight?"

Here is a link to one of the meals I'm talking about,

Bon apetit!

I just bought something similar from Costco called TastyBite. I got the Madras Lentils. They are essentially Indian MREs. If you are a vegan, one who likes variety or does not like to cook, they are great. I personally like them. I'm sure that some will be concerned about the weight. But that's the price you pay for convenience.
