helping with mileage

[Chinooktrail]

My friend is hiking the AT right now, his trail name is Float.
He is sending journal entries home to his dad to post, but not always including the mileage.
Is there an online source for his dad to look at to know the mileage from shelters or road crossings or landmarks so he can add it to the journal entries?
I will look around some more, but so far short of buying him a guide book too ~ I haven't seen anything.

I used the one on joe lile's site until I bought the companion... Just search joe lile's Appalachian trail hike. It's under the maps tab.
