Well he's a spring chicken 75 in December.... so I just got off the phone and we are headed to Hamburg Reservoir and we will climb to the Pinnacle with our dogs... Jack is 15 so he's questionable. He loves the trail so much but with new limitations. We might end up packing the Jack Russel out... No biggie.

Did that brushfire start today? I hadn't heard about that one - only the one down by French Creek. Be careful up there folks! Stay safe.

port clinton is about 6mi south/west of the pinnicale. provided this doesn't spread too fast. you may smell smoke.
be safe.
there was another fire on the trail easter sunday, in lehigh township, which firefighters put out quickly.
tonite, i'll be at leroy smith shelter in wind gap. looking forward to a bit of rain in the forecast.

everyone be safe...enjoy you hike woo!

Really good times - met a group of night students & teacher of Chester County three lots of backpacking boy scouts, large groups of people at the pinnicle and the pulpit and Rugby made some freinds too... I cant figure it out but four people said "hi puppy" to a 70lbs dog. Later that day he rounded the corner cus he was out in front and at a distance a couple mistook him for a black bear... oh well. Great Day!
