yeah. that is neat. but as a city guy i gotta wonder...what's the utility of the large white (obviously made to look like transfer station) stops? i get that these are reserved for the more established trail towns and termini.

if they were saved for places where there were nearby or relevant long trail intersections that might be a bit more interesting. off the top of my head...

franklin for the bmt or the bartram
erwin for the river
damascus for the creeper and the iron mtn.
pearisburg for the allegheny
harper's ferry for the c/o and the adt
duncannon for the cross-country bike
dwg for the river
bear mtn for the river or the long path
rutland for the long trail

But you did seem to miss the map key which shows white stops means "within 1 mile of trail" and black means "off trail"
