Just the rousing motivation a NOBO needs :)
Kind of weird. Not a bad song, just a little weird for a springer departure for me. I'll rip it to my iPod and play it on other hikes, but a springer departure deserves something a little more "rousing". Maybe "the Olympic spirit" by John Williams?

Or the theme from "Rocky"Or were off to see the wilderness "The Wonderful Wilderness of Awes" Plug, cause it's a great book.
I like it but it may fit better with an Everest basecamp trek. It's hard to get any better than Dueling Bangos for N. Ga.

Copperhead Road by Steve Earle
I like the beat and considering what today is, it is appropriate.
