This would be for a AT thru hike starting mid to late May from Springer. This would be my cold weather gear. I would put my warm weather up but all it is is a lighter sleeping bag and less clothes etc. What do you guys think about this? I like the 16 pound base weight before fuel/food/water. I accounted for about 4 days worth of food at @ 2 lbs a day as a heaviest scenario type thing. I also then accounted for 2 liters of water on me while hiking. Then clothes carried and items carried were added for skin out weight.
What do you guys think? I sleep hot. Im 21 years old, 6' 6'' 230 lbs but athletic and trained. Sleep very hot. any other info needed?! Am i missing something drastic?
