Specifically the Otterbox 2000 which weighs in at 6oz. It's a bit heavy and feels bulky however it's a decent water-tight box for a phone if caught in a downpour. Does anyone else use them? I'm on the fence and wondering if a lighter alternative would suffice.

Check out this case. Much lighter than the Otter. Water proof, shockproof. I want one.

Ah thanks for the links folks, I'm not familiar with either but think I'll have to settle on one. I was going to go with a padded case and a plastic shopping bag but it seems there's a better way. The dust/particle element is a decent selling point and my otter doesn't appear to block that.

Or get a phone that's IP67 rated or better.

I know, too simple, it'll never catch on.
