Leki Poles with "speed locks" are collapsing !

So - I'm leaving for a section hike next week and went out for a "trial run" today.

I have some (fairly) new Leki poles with "speed locks" and suddenly they won't stand up to
any real pressure.

As soon as I put any substantial weight on them they collapse.

Does someone know why this would happen and / or how to fix it?

I don't have the Leki but on the Black Diamond there is a very simple screw adjustment that can be done just with a thumb nail.
Maybe your Leki have something like that.
(with the BD you adjust them with the flick lock open...)

I saw the screw adjustment - but was not sure what it was for.

Just went and adjusted them and they are "good as new".
