This makes me want to clear my sinuses by taking some sudafed and sit on my porch smoking a Cuban cigar while I drink a glass of raw milk that I obtain illegally every week by buying it and transporting it across state lines.

People want a nanny state, that's just part of what comes with it. Really tough on small busnisses, but can also be hard on not-so-small business http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yZCqXmYZro

Does anyone still want to be in the drug war? It just seems silly to me.

I was watching something the other day (can't remember what it was) but the show host was talking to a DEA honcho that said they only confiscate about $1 billion in cash and assets from drug dealers every year. Then an economist said that tax revenue for taxing drugs the way that they tax tobacco and alcohol would be some where between $35-40 billion a year not counting the savings that would happen because of the reduced load on the prison system. Just something to ponder..........
