I thought you were talking about the HAL 9000. I took mine to Jupiter once, but it screwed up on me about the same time I got to the end of the trail. I ended up suspending higher functions and using an alcohol version until I got home.

I always found it interesting that "HAL" was the name of the computer in 2001. It is no accident that you get a different name that we all recognize if you replace each of the letters in HAL's name with the next one following it in the alphabet.

So now we know the secret behind the Atomic Fireball. Don't worry your secret is safe with me. I'll never tell. ;)

The article says "The prototype is a bulky docking bay weighing 2.2 kg that includes a fuel cell and a built-in lithium-ion battery." Notice the use of ion in the sentence. I believe you may be onto something. Let's see if it comes with a pentagon printer. :D

humm - 12 watt output from a micro fuel cell - that sounds just about perfect for a super bright LED head lamp - I wonder if yellow bottle HEET is pure enough methanol for the fuel cell

I keep hoping for these fuel cells. One more reason to switch. Heck, one more reason to brew your own :D
