Does anybody else have flat feet and what has worked for you? I just went through my last pair of a shoe (Avia) that worked for me but they don't sell them anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Every shoe I've seen is flat inside when you take out the insole. Perhaps you should find an insole that works well for your feet instead.

I second Power Step. My feet were always flat and then whatever arches I had started to collapse while attempting a thru-hike. I paid the $300 for molded orthotics (which completely wore out in a few months) and went with the Power Step. When I can't find them I just "build" my own arch supports by combining a good insole and an extra arch support in each boot. I only wear Hi-Tec boots. The only insole that never worked for me is Super Feet. Caused even more pain.
